Since 1972, the primary resource for information, issues, and ideas about intentional communities in North America - from urban co-ops to cohousing groups to ecovillages to rural communes. The 80-page quarterly is focusing increasingly on cohousing communities and aspiring ecovillages, as those are two of the fastest-growing kinds of communities in North America today. Articles and columns cover practical "how-to" issues of community living as well as personal stories about forming new communities, decision-making, conflict resolution, raising children in community, sustainability, and much more. In Communities magazine you'll find: - Issues organized around a particular theme (about half the articles in each issue are focused around a central theme).
- Ongoing columns by experienced communitarians and community founders.
- Reach ads - helping communities looking for members, and people looking for communities, find each other.
- Advertising for goods and services of value to those interested in intentional community.
Each issue is 76-80 pages. Renewals: Rates are the same for new and renewal subscriptions. Renewals placed here will extend your existing subscription the appropriate number of issues. Online renewals reduce mailing and paper costs for the non-profit Fellowship and help save our environment.
