A non-residential urban learning community focused on personal development, interpersonal and relationship skills, community building, social transformation, attuning to spirit, and working to provide to provide a model or demonstration community. They host regular gatherings, have frequent sharings and celebrations, operate several community businesses, and from time to time offer extensive workshops--including an annual institute held each summer. They have learned the importance of balancing attention to human rights with the development of abilities that enable personal and social responsibility. An excerpt from their mission statement: "We create a culture that enables human growth. Through our relationships we develop and heal ourselves and each other, allowing spirit to emerge, thus freeing our creativity and vitality to serve the good of all."
