About the release date:
As most of you probably know by now, we lost Geoph to pancreatic cancer in October 2007. When he died almost all of the raw footage for the second volume was shot, yet only two of the 10 segments were edited.
The good news is that Geoph lived long enough after learning about the cancer to put in place a solid plan for completing the second volume. I—Laird Schaub, his long-time friend and fellow FIC networker—have taken over project management and the editing is being done by his compatriots at Village Media at the Farm in TN, Phil Schweitzer and Douglas Stevenson.
Since picking up the thread of the work this winter, Phil & Douglas have completed two more segments, which means only six more remain. At the rate we’re going now, we aim is to have this project wrapped up and distributed by the end of 2008.
How you can help:
Though Geoph worked on the video as a labor of love, Phil & Douglas need to be compensated for their professional services. Though they are giving us a substantial discount on what they normally charge, it still costs us $2000/segment. If you're in a position to help us reach the finish line, your tax-deductible donation can be mailed to:
